iReport fails at start up!

Using iReports 1.2.7

 

Clicking on the iReports.bat fails, or shortcut. It opens up the logo window, then at the 'Loading plugins' it fails with exception found below.

If I re-install iReports (even in a different directory), it works for one time. As soon as I close it and then re-start it back up it bombs with the exception below. It just hangs there.

Any clues? anyone have the same problem?

Dont use the same shortcut found on your desktop to start up iReports if you re-install iReports. (Even if you re-install it into the same directory)

 

so far this is now working.
