subreport in summary instead of in detail

i have a report with subreports as follows:

 

{header}

{detail}

{subreport in detail}

 

and this works fine.

 

is there any way to reform the report as follows and put the subreport in report summary?

 

{header}

{detail}

{subreport in report summary}

 

i do this but since subreport depends on the parent then only one line is printed. i guess it is because there is no more parent to iterate on, but is there any way to do so?
