Backwards compatibility for JasperReports

Hi,

 

I'm running iReports 1.2.6 but need to deploy using JasperReports 1.1.1.

 

The Options->Compatibility... menu option provides a selection of several versions of Jasper Reports. When I choose 1.1.1 and compile the jrxml then version 1.2.0 is produced. I know that because the report generation fails with a JasperReports incompatible version message:

 

net.sf.jasperreports.engine.base.JRBaseReport; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 10200, local class serialVersionUID = 10101

 

Is there something else I need to do to get iReports to product a 1.1.1 version jasper file?
