Hibernate Datasource

Hi there,

 

I am attempting to set up a hibernate data source in iReport. Note that I am using annotations. I have added the appropriate jar files to the lib dir of iReport (ejb3-persistance.jar, hibernate-annotations.jar, + my application's jar files), but when I attempt to test the connection I get the following error:

 

An AnnoationConfiguration instance is required to use <mapping class="x.x.x.x.MyClass"/>

 

Anyone have an idea how to set up a hibernate datasource in iReport where the hibernate configuration uses annotations?

 

Setup info:

OS: Windows XP

JVM: 1.5

iReport: 1.2.2

hibernate: 3.2.0rc2

hibernate-annotations: 3.2.0rc1

DB: HyperSonic 1.8
