2006 IR Open Dicussion
By: joel_guesclin - joel_guesclin Where is the Groovy compiler? 2006-05-04 08:26 I'm using iReport to design reports, then trying to run them under OpenReports. Everything has been going fine until I try to use Groovy expressions. These work all right in iReport, but when I try to execute them in OpenReports I get the message: Error creating report: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Report compiler class not found : net.sf.jasperreports.compilers.JRGroovyCompiler According to the page about Groovy on the iReport site, I need to install this file: jr-groovy-compiler.jar However, I cannot find this file anywhere in the iReport installation. Has the file name changed? I would also like to know whether it is possible to change the colour of a printed element dependent on its value, and if so how you go about doing this. Thanks for the help, JG By: Giulio Toffoli - gt78 RE: Where is the Groovy compiler? 2006-05-08 09:53 1. jr-groovy-compiler.jar is now part of jasperreports-1.2.2.jar 2. You can use conditional styles (iReport/JR 1.2.1 or greater) Giulio
