is it posible to do calculation in a text field in crosstab?

you can do calculation through the "crosstab" tab, like multiplication, string concatenation, etc. However I'm not sure which field/variable can be used further than the one set up in the crosstab properties/edit crosstab properties/measures.

Dear Denis,

 

thanks for the suggestion. I have try this before. but it seems that we can't do things like change the type of a figure from long to double or to integer in the text field in crosstab's tab.

 

Besides that, we also cannot do calculation, NOT EVEN FOR SAME TYPE fields/ variable..

Hi harvestmoon,

 

Here is an example of crosstab textfield expression:

 

$V{valeur_Nothing}.doubleValue()!=-1 ?

"" + $V{valeur_Nothing} : "A"

 

valeur_Nothing is a Double, and the result is a String. I've not try though with more than one measure.
