No image shown in Excel format

Hi.

I'm using iReport 1.1 and I consider my self as newbie using iReport.

 

I've created a RTF report using an image. It worked fine. Then I tried Excel and the image did't appear.

 

How can I fix this problem?

Hi people.

 

I'm in a hurry with this issue. I need to get an image in my Excel Report using iReport 1.1. My image is a JPG.

 

Please someone tell me if it is possible 'cause every time I build that report in PDF, HTML or RTF, the image is there. But when I try Excel the image disappears.

The Jakarta POI library that JasperReports uses when exporting the report to XLS format doesn't support images. See the Jasper FAQ - http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/faq.html#faq5

Oh, is a shame, I thought it was possible 'cause I was reading POI docs where images were included for excel.

by the way, do you know any other reporter for java for excel format including images?

You can using the new XLS exporter provided as sample in JasperReport 1.2.0
