Hi All,

 

I am not able to put arial font for pdf. Whether its possible?

Textfield element properties -> tab Text -> Pdf font combobox.

Yes Giulio, I am trying from there only. But arial is not listed in comobox. Is thare any way to assign arial font

You have right.

1. Add Arial.ttf to your classpath and restart ireport

2. Select external TTF font

3. Select Arial from TTF fonts combobox

Thanks a lot Giulio, Its working fine.

 

But I have a doubt, if we take the iRpeort genetared *.jasper file using external *.ttf font. Whether the font will remain same when we try to open through Jasper itself seperately.

yes, What I mean to say is, the solution you advised me for setting the arial font for PDF from external ttf font.

I did the same, i just put the arial.ttf in a folder and seted the classpath.

And now for pdf arial font is working fine from iReport.

After creation of jasper file I will be calling this from jsp where I am using jasper.jar for opening the report.

 

So my doubt was, will the same font will remain or it will work only with iReport?
