help with xls formatting

Hi,

 

Two questions:

 

1. Is it possible to make the grid visible in excell when generating a report? If so how?

 

2. Is it possible to add a border to each "cell" in the report before it's generated in excel? This would really help me out, as my reports are quite large and require much formatting as they are now.

Try to use the iReport grid developing this kind of report.

 

Try to set your fields as "transprent".

(I'm not sure this works with excel)
