Error Filling Print

I'm getting the following error message. I have JasperReports 6.1 & IReports 0.4.0 and java ver 1.4.2_04. The report is one I've had for a while and just recompiled it under 0.4.0. It compiles fine but won't fill properly. The DB is set up and the test connection works fine. And I tested the SQL with the same parameters and that works. Here is my error message:

 

Filling report... Error filling print... java.lang.NullPointerException at it.businesslogic.ireport.IReportCompiler.run(IReportCompiler.java:438) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:534) Print not filled. Try to use an EmptyDataSource...!

 

Any Ideas why its not working?

Menu compile->set active datasource

 

and set your JDBC datasource as the active datasource.
