Passing parameters to the sub report

How to pass parameters of the master report to the sub report which is a chart report?

First, create the parameter in the subreport.

Double click the subreport element in the master report and go to the Subreport(other) tab and Subreport parameters tab. Click Add and enter the subreport parameter name that you created and then the value from the master you want to send.

 

Make sure your data types are the same!

That should do it.
