Parameter drag and drop in 0.4.0 problem

2004-10-12 02:18

Hello all,

I switched from 0.3.2 to 0.4.0 today and I noticed the fact that the user defined parameters are not visible on the designer surface after drag and drop although I do see the message "Dropped a it.businesslogic.ireport.JRParameter" on console. The parameters can be added to design surface manually.

This action of dnd was posible and successful in 0.3.2.

I'm using Windows XP Professional SP1, JDK 1.4.2_05 and ireport 0.4.0 installed in a different directory than 0.3.2.

Is there something wrong with my configuration or this feature is not functioning as before ?

Thank you.

Thank you for the quick answer but unfortunately it's not working from object library either. I tried with all the other objects (fields, variables, pages, even Total) from object library and without exception the dnd operation works.

The dnd behavior is there (the cursor in changing) but I get only this message in console "Dropped a it.businesslogic.ireport.JRParameter" and nothing visible on screen. The parameter definition is ok, I did verified with the jrxml file, it apears as available in object library tree .. but no dnd.

Is my configuration to blame ? Is it working with yours ?

I find dnd in iReport a very useful feature and I like it very much.
