2005 IR Help
By: Burcu - naughty_girl Second SQL query in the same report 2005-08-26 04:51 Hi.I am new to iReport and very confused. I want to add a chart and the sql query of this is different from the master query.I tried to add the second query as a parameter but i was not able to do that(i read whole forum). I want to ask whether the thing can be done by parameters and how i can do that?Where should i put $P!{query} parameter? How can i make the compiler understand that parameter is a independent query? OR is there another way to create an independent sql query within the same report and use it in the chart? I will be grateful if anyone helps...Thanks. By: Burcu - naughty_girl RE: Second SQL query in the same report 2005-08-29 07:23 i really need help:( By: Marco LOMBARDO - marlom9000 RE: Second SQL query in the same report 2005-08-29 08:41 I'm not that deep inside JasperReports, however I'm quite sure you can include only one query for each report. So? The solution is the same as the subReport: add a subReport, with its own query, and define the chart inside the subreport and not in the main one.
