my own plugin - logOnConsole problem

2004-08-26 23:08

Hi Giulio,

I'm currently writing my own plugin for IReport that shall compile the current report and store the binary report into a field of my database. Therefore I looked at the MassiveCompiler PlugIn how the whole plugin architecture of IReport works at all.

I pass the MainFrame to my thread method to have access to the method "logOnConsole". It works well, but how can I clear the "jEditorPaneOutput" (the logconsole)?

I couldn't find any method that clears the old output. But when compiling a new report with the compilebutton, then the console is cleared.

What do I have to call to clear the console? Or how can I scroll down to the last line (everytime I add some text with "logOnConsole" it jumps to the first line.

Hi C-Box.

sorry for delay. I'll add a method to clear the log.

Doesn't matter - it's not so important more "cosmetic-style".

Thanx so far in advance - have a nice day.

greetings from germany

BTW: Will the next release support the Jasper 0.6.1?

JR 0.6.1 is already fully supported (you can take the last version from CVS). It's already supported the new lastPageFooter band too.
