Now it's not possible Giulio By: Darren Hartford - binarymonk AW: saving iReport to .doc 2005-03-07 07:16 Man I love open-source. No run-around, no trying to sell you new things, no giving wishy-washy 'it will soon' pitches - here is the answer, period. :-) There is a workaround to save iReport/JasperReport documents to WORD Doc format now if you have Adobe Professional and MS Office. Export your reports to PDF format, then using Adobe Professional you can save-as WORD Doc. Generally reports are not designed for .doc or .rtf format where it is an editable 'publishing' format, usually you want either un-modifiable published format (such as PDF) or modifiable datasource/extract format (CSV, XLS). My two cents, -D By: Sumit - sumitklal RE: saving iReport to .doc 2005-08-22 04:52 May I know when the next version with RTF support will be available Regards Sumit Lal By: Giulio Toffoli - gt78 RE: saving iReport to .doc 2005-08-22 09:23 It's already implemented in iReport and JasperReports 1.0.1 Both should be released this week.
