Pretty cool, I did my first REPORT. Some steps

1. Create an ODBC User Data Source (I installed ODBC Driver for advantage)

2. Launch iReports

3. From menu, clic DataSource->Connections/DataSources and clic NEW

4. put in the follow:

Type of connection datasource: DAtaBAse JDBC Connection

Name: //any name you want

JDBC Driver: sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver //The bridge

JDBC URL: jdbc:odbc:trasplante // where trasplante is the name of my ODBC Source

This is enough.

5. Test, save your connection, close Datasources window

6. This is a very important STEP!!!

From menu clic: Build->Set Active Connection, and pick your connection.

7. At Windows Explorer Have to move folder "Templates" into a new fodler called "etc"

8. From menu clic: File->Report Wizzard

9. Follow the easy wizzard.

10. For watch your report clic the run report using a conncetion.

Thats all, thanks ;)
