iReport0.5.0 do not running

iReport0.5.0 do not running

iReport 0.4.1 run but iReport 0.5.0 don't run

if iReport.bat clicks, dos window have "off"

my System is win98 and java 1.5.0_02

I have the same problem. This is the exception after running iReport.bat from command line

 

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: de

Can you post the entire stack trace?

 

In many cases, a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError is caused by a wrong JDK. You have to use 1.4 or greater

i install tool.jar where lib file or autoexec.bat

i guess that java file does not connect.

dos window is right away "off"(finishing).

iReport0.4.1 and iReport0.5.0 install my fold.

iReport0.4.1 use at present

i settle problem

i copy startup.bat from iReport0.4.1(277byte)

and i paste iReport0.5.0/bin directory

this is running but is it OK?

do you think what problem will be happened?

It's fine, this files should be the same.

I think that the problem was the value of JAVA_HOME set inside your startup.bat
