I have a question ...i want to use Hyper Link in my report, i know that there is tab as Hyper Link in to the properties of a text field...but dont know how to use it.

 

i have read some mails on hyper link but that were not able to resolve my doubts ...as some perosnal communication took place via mails that is not reflected in the Mialing list or open discussion.

 

My Problem:

 

I want to dynamically generate a new page/report from the record/column in my report.

 

What is tha anchor name i am supposed to give (i.e. what kind of expression).

What should be the Hyperlink reference expression?

What should be the Hyperlink Page expression? (whats the difference between this and above expression)?

When is the Hyperlink achor expression is used?

 

I know i have asked the whole functionality for working with Hyper Link.....but its imp for me to understand this .....please help.
