I report is a wsywig tool that removes the knowlage of JasperReports xml framework from you. What it creates is jxml file for each report that you create. I suggest to download jasperreports zip and there is a demo web application that uses ireport. The easiest IDE to deploy it with is NetBeans. note you must compile all stuff using ANT before you deploy it otherwise applets will not work. But to get back to your question. You have to add theis functionalty to Web Application yourself. Once you have web application then all you do is put your *.jxml files and run them with little elbow greese. Thre is also some example created but I can not seem to find them. Good loock
