Using hsqldb fails

2005-04-10 11:17

Hi,

I'm struggling with the use of hsqldb and ireport. When I create a new JDBC datasource and press the "Test" button in "Connections properties" I get an error form which displays:

========================================

SQL problems:

Connection is broken: 127.0.0.1/my-database-name

jdbc:hsqldb:hsql://127.0.0.1/my-database-name

========================================

The hsqldb-server is up and running, it is version 1.7.2

Has anyone experienced this problem or can give me a hint?

Thx,

Jí²Ší·¥n

Hi again,

o.k., I solved the problem: ireport ships with an old version of hsqldb. After replacing lib/hsqldb.jar with the version from my hsqldb installation it works fine.

Sorry for spamming,
