We cannot use iReports unless it works with the latest release of Java and allows us to download the JDBC drivers via Java Web Start instead of having to put them in each users iReport/lib directory. The product has so much potential, but the implementation is shaky. Is there any way to get a prelease version? In 2/3 days will be released the new iReport release (0.4.1) tested with Java Web Start (now you can use the Eclipse JDT Compiler, without using tools.jar).
