Hi,

I have installed Ant and it is running fine on my machine. I have it at c:projectsant.

Then I downloaded the JasperReports and stored the folder at c:projectsjasperreports.

I have jdk1.3 installed on c:jdk1.3

 

Now I am testing FirstJasper example but I have a lot of

problems. Firstly I am not sure whether the files except from .xml should be there or not. If it should then how should i get the report files(.htm, .pdf, .jasper) created and where it will be created. I tried running Ant in this folder of samples but in vain.

 

So can you provide an example that explains

the step to be followed to start Jasper reports.
