Hi,

 

1) How can I user a numbering function which increments on the number of records (data) from a query. Like the page numbering in the report?

 

2) Is there a tool like the chart example to create a spreadsheet layout inside a rapport?

1) Create a variable named ie. MyCounter

Set calculation to nothing.

Initial expression: new Integer(0);

Expression: new Integer($V{MyCounter}.intValue() +1)

 

Your variable will contain the number of records.
