Hi,

1)I would like to know if there is any way where in the report generated could automatically be sent via email to a particular address in Ireports.

 

2)I have a report that has to be generated daily. I have to change the transaction date manually. Is there is any i can automotize this.

These are not tasks IReport is designed for. You must write your own apps to eMail reports and populate parameters. See jasper report in sourceforge. At the jasper site there is an excellent manaul available for around $35 that can help, assuming you have some java skills.
