printing Legal size paper problem

Hi guys,

Ireport lets you set the numbers for legal size paper but when I try to print the report from the pdf viewer - pdf prints it with standard size paper settings.

The pdf seems to be right.

HAve you trouble to print the pdf? Are you printer capable to print Legal size prints?

 

If the generated pdf has Legal size, the problem is no more of iReport or jasperreports.

It seems I have a problem with my PDF. The report shows in the viewer as a legal sized report but when I click on the print button the preview is in letter size. What PDF software and version do you use?

Acrobat Reader 5.0 (but I have not tried to print)

Acrobat Reader 5.0 has a full version and a not full version. With the full version there is something you can set so when you want to print legal it will happen. with the not full version you would have to set the paper to legal in the print mesagebox and then print. what I used temporarily is the jasper viewer. with it I can print legal wihtout setting anything and if someone wants, in the print messagebox, they can choose acrobat distiller to save to pdf.
