i wonderif there is some kind of documentation available for iReport which i can hand out to our "Reporting-People" (should be a bit more detailed than the docus found on the homepage)?

... or is the Jasperreport reference enough to deal with iReport?

the documentation for iReport is bad.

A good reference manual is on the top of out todo list.

 

For now, the jasperreports guide is very useful to understand some key concepts about how to a report is created. This concepts are useful to understand iReport too.
