ktrinad
By: Llolsten Kaonga - chanda swapping bands 2003-05-01 15:26 My apologies if this has already been addressed: Is there some way to swap bands without bad things happening to ireport templates? By this, I mean, right now, I have certain info that's being displayed in the ColumnHeader that I would prefer to be displayed below the first group. Can one swap these things without breaking anything? Thanks! By: Giulio Toffoli - gt78 RE: swapping bands 2003-05-01 15:55 By iReport not. But you can aopen the source file and swap manually all contents of the tag group. Example <group name="Myfirstgroup" ....> ... </group> <group name="MySecondgroup" ....> ... </group> will be... <group name="MySecondgroup" ....> ... </group> <group name="Myfirstgroup" ....> ... </group> Giulio By: Llolsten Kaonga - chanda RE: swapping bands 2003-05-01 21:00 Giulio, What you suggest above works if I swap groups. I have not been able to make it work if I swap a group and the ColumnHeader. In fact, it doesn't seem to matter where the ColumnHeader is located. The issue I have is that I want a group to describe a major grouping and then have column headings under that. The headings get expanded from the detailLabel. Am I missing something? By: Giulio Toffoli - gt78 RE: swapping bands 2003-05-02 04:03 Chanda, you can't swap a group with a column header, you can swap a group with another group. A group can be used as column header repeating its print on new pages, take a look at the group properties. Giulio
