bhomass
I need to join foreignkey with primary key of another table. the foreign key is sometimes null, so I figure I need to use isnull(foreignkey) to set a default value of -1. I am able to create the calcuated field with no problem, but in the join diague, the join buttons all gray out when I select the calculated field. How do I make this work? zh3ntil
Hi,You need to export the domain, edit the domain's xml as you want and import to the jasperserver again. For now, The Jasper UI supports to make joins over the fields only, but it will be supported on UI in further releases.
bhomass
as it turned out, I use the domain generated sql as is, without the isnull, and the data was pull up just fine. Some where along the way, Jasper filled in the missing functions. But thanks for the pointer that you can modify the xml directly.
