page numbering

Hello , i have the following case :

Where should i place the page numbering ?

make more space and add it after the summary ? will that work if i have N-pages in inside the detail band ?

Hi,

I think you should use the page footer band or the last page footer band for your pages number.

For displaying them on the summary band you have to check "Summary with Page header and Footer" in the report properties.

create a page footer. drag a text field ther.  right click edit expression  give this      "Page " + String.valueOf($V{PAGE_NUMBER}) + "                                         drag one more text field next to it, right click edit expression give this     " " + String.valueOf($V{PAGE_NUMBER})
