sanbez
Telepathists is gone to vacation. Which database? Which JDBC url? Are you test JDBC-connection in iReport?
Ankur Gupta
Hi kashif,First of all I suppose you are using DATABASE JDBC Connection. Then in the attached picture you would see JDBC Driver option, which I have marked as 1 ,in the drop down find the suitable driver , but if you can't find the correct driver add the jar in the directory 'JaspersoftiReport-4.7.0ireportmodulesext' (I use iReport 4.7.0 your might be a different version)Then you could go onto the second step where you could give the Username and password, please give the JDBC Url correctly and proceed. Then jump onto the 3rd and the last step which will help you to check the connection, and if its successful then you are good to go.Hope that it helpsRegards,Ankur

Ankur Gupta
Hi,Well this means that either the user name/password have been changed and not updated in the datasource or probably the driver has been corrupted try putting the driver again and make sure that the driver is correct. Hope that it helps Regards,Ankur
