Barcharts in iReport 3.0.0

Hi,

 

I'm making a bar chart in iReport 3.0.0 and all my bars are at the exact same distance from eachother (I've got 2 bars per category expression).

How can I change this??

I want to put bars from the same category closer to eachother (just like in the preview picture when you create a barchart)

If you don't mind, i have a question

Can i call in the pl/sql language, to a procedure furthermore to execute a select clause from the 'Edit query' section?

for example:

 

call Func();

select * from my_table

The biggest problem you face is that JFreeChart does not allow you to position bars absolutely. It position bars relative to all the other elements in the bar chart. In addition to change any of the properties such as these you need to create a chart customizer.
Do a Google search on Jasper Chart customizer. You can also check out the JFreeChart forums. They have helped me in the past when I've created Chart customizers.
