Improper formatting of numeric field when export to Excel after upgrade to JR-S 4.2.1

I have a report that has previously exported properly to Excel.  After upgrading the JasperReports Server to v4.2.1, there now is a Long field that when exported to Excel, is formatted with a decimal point (i.e. 1. instead of 1).  There is no formatting applied to this cell in the jrxml, and other columns export properly.  I forced the formatting to ###0 in the jrxml, and it still exports to Excel with a decimal point.

The report runs fine in preview, pdf export, xlsx export, and iReport 4.5.0
