rlfisherpbtgroup.com
Hi -I have two left-justified text elements, one to the right of the other. Is there a technique I can use so that the element on the right will begin where the text in the left element ends? That is, if there is extra whitespace at the right end of the leftmost element (because there wasn't much text), can I collapse the white space?Thank you
dafr
Why not use the simple expression: $F{FIELD1}+$F{FIELD2} within the same text field?
rlfisherpbtgroup.com
Good point! I forgot to mention that the right-hand element is a hyperlink.Instead of using the hyperlink properties for that element, I have tried putting them together (similar to your suggestion) with html markup, but the anchor is not passed through in the html export.$F{field1} + " | " + "<a href='foo'>" + $F{field2} + "</a>"
