VALUE FOR PARAMETERS

Hi,

I am a newbie in ireport and try to send parameters to the report for getting a date range in a field.

I generated the sql query like this   DATE_FÄ°ELD  BETWEEN $P{param1} AND $P{param2}    but don't know what to add default value expressions of the parameters.

Could you provide an example for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to select java.util.Date for the class type and something like new Date("12/12/2007") for the default value expression
