arothe
Hi, I try to convert some reports written with Oracle Reports into JasperReports. In Oracle Reports there are "repeatable groups", are there any similar things in JasperReports? With these groups I can do the following, if the last three fields are in such a group: datasource: 1 2 3 4 51 2 7 8 91 2 6 7 92 3 5 6 7 report output: 1 2 3 4 5. . 7 8 9. . 6 7 92 3 5 6 7 (dot means space characters)Where can I find these in iReport? ThanksAndrePost edited by: arothe, at: 2008/05/23 10:
mdahlman
Andre, It sounds like you want the option "Print repeated values" deselected for those fields. (It's selected by default.) Regards,Matt
arothe
Hi! It is a group problem. I have to group some fields and display the fields only if a group change occurs. JasperReports defines groups in a vertical manner, but I can move the grouped fields into the "detail group" and set the "print on group change" option for every field. So I can emulate the Oracle behavior. Thx.Andre
