mkusterm
Can anyone advise on the proper way toautomate removal of scheduled report output files? I have a custom web app that allows users toschedule their own reports, and I place thereports on the contentfiles folder. I would like tohave the jasper server automatically remove reportsto avoid a buildup. Is there a way to do this by limiting either theamount of space, number of reports, or amount oftime a generated report file resides on the server? thanks, mike
swood
We do not have a process to do this today. You could do it through a separate process using the JasperServer API. ShermanJasperSoft
fidelity
Hi Mike, Pls could you explain how you implemented this, I was planning on writing a java program that would access the Creation Date of the report and then delete depending on how old it was however when I tried to extract the date it comes out as null. thks Di
