Prompted Parameter not passed to report

Hi,

 

I'm using a Double parameter, which uses the "isforPrompting=true" property. But after entering different numbers (e.g. 3.01) during execution, only the default values is displayed inside the resulting XLS.

 

I'm executing the report from a web application. I can upload JRXML Files to the application. But when executing the report inside the app, it only shows the default parameter value.

 

When executing the same report from iReport with an CSV datasource, it works fine.

 

Any idea? Do I need to pass the param from the app to the report by a special command?

isforPrompting only works when you run the report in iReports. It's for testing purposes. To pass your parameters from an application you need to use a Map object.
