Jasper Server - input controls are blank

I have created some reports in Jasper Server / iReports.

I have been trying to get the permissions to work so specific users can view / run only reports intended for them.

I have a report with 6 input controls (parameters), however, if logged in not as the administrator, the input control section is blank and I see the message "You must apply input values before the report can be displayed."

Jaspersoft Version 6.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to input control folder locations with jaspersever application and right click, select permissions and be sure that ROLE_USER has read only permission.

Thanks .. it turned out to be the permissions on the data types folder.
