In some cases, you may want to set internal roles for external users. This can only be done for internal roles that are not the target of any external mapping as above. To do this, an internal admin user can log in via an internal login screen (for example, http://localhost:8080/jasperserver-pro/login.html) and assign the internal roles manually. Internal roles assigned this way are not overwritten during synchronization; they can only be removed or changed by the same manual process with which they were created.
