JasperReports Server 6.x Releases DO NOT Support Liferay or JBoss Portal

Jaspersoft has not built any Portal application since version release version 5.2. The Portlet link found in JasperRepotrs Server (JRS) release 6.0.1 download page in support portal actually points to the 5.1 deliverable (JasperReportsServer-portlet-5.1.0-Liferay.war). This Portlet however works back then using an already outdated Liferay version.

Because JRS 5.1 is no longer supported, we have determined to not build that Portal artifact nor test to certify the product. Beside, the Portlet was based on SOAP services that has been long deprecated. The fact that Liferay Portal 6.1.1 is still listed under Portal Servers in Jaspersoft 6.2.1 Platform Support document is AN ERROR. Neither Liferay nor JBoss Portal are supported in JRS 6.x releases. We have already filed a documentation bug report to address and correct this error. Please discard the Portal support information from Jaspersoft 6.x support document.
