Issue Description:
After logging in to TIBCO JasperReports® Server, the browser is stuck at /j_spring_security_check page and no further navigation occurs.
Resolution:
When logging in, not only is the user authenticated but also authorized. In the case of external authentication e.g. Active Directory the roles are retrieved not from JasperReports® Server internally but from Active Directory. When no roles are retrieved and mapped properly within applicationContext-externalAuth-LDAP-mt.xml then the login cannot continue. Ensure that when configuring the role search in the ldapAuthenticationProvider bean of said xml file that you are searching within the right location.
