Hi, apparently lately Sourceforge has become an unreliable place where to store our files for update site related stuff. We recently had people complaining about being unable to install plugin via Marketplace or using direct link. Here it appears something similar is happening with the RCP update.I gave a quick look around on the forum boards and it appears we are not the only one:- https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/site-support/14016/- https://github.com/gnuarmeclipse/plug-ins/issues/151I will try to dig a bit more. In the meanwhile I will try to raise the problem internally and see if we can find a proper location to move the stuff.I hope to be able to come up with some good news soon.Best regards,Massimo.

Hi,I have an update on the issue.I can confirm what reported on the first link last comment. "Hello,Those downloads point to a mirror which may get an https mirror now.The https mirrors use "Let's Encrypt" certificates which are valid, but somewhat new and it seems the Eclipse/java environment doesn't trust it. You will need to update the Eclipse/java to support it. This may get you started:https://www.topjavablogs.com/news/how-to-trust-lets-encrypt-certificate-with-java"If you give a look at the blog entry you will see the proposed fix on the topic. What I did on my local JSS 6.3.0 instance was to modify the .ini file and remove the two lines (-vm ).I also installed the last version of the JRE available (1.8.0u121). As they report on the article "Since Java 8u101 is Let's encrypt trusted!", so Oracle has added them. Therefore, after removing the mentioned lines from Jaspersoft Studio.ini and installed the brand new JRE, JSS will start using the brand new 1.8.0_121. This will allow to update the RCP installation.Hope this helps.I will close the bug.Best regards,Massimo.
