Crashing all arround

Hi, looking at the error log it appears there are a lot of SWTException when working with a custom widget "SelectableComposite".

I suppose it could be related to your crashes. Can you recall the scenario(s) on which these sudden crashes where occurring?

Can you please check if it is related to the following bug: http://community.jaspersoft.com/jaspersoft-studio/issues/6701

Maybe your use case is similar. Just in case try to adopt the proposed workaround to give "export SWT_GTK3=0" instruction before launching JSS.

I'm getting the same problems here. The IDE is just really sluggish and it loves to crash.

Also it takes 5 minutes to load the IDE. I'm running a core I7 with 8gigs of ram and it behaves like a 386. Pretty frustrating.

And more crashing.

its also using 1.16 gigs of ram. This is pretty excessive.

[CLEANING UP TRACKER]It appears that the original bug was related to the inability to run the product into a Linux system. No evident crash has been verified when playing with the last JSS version (6.18.1) in Linux.
