you should get Jaspersoft Studio 6.1 , 5.5 is very old, what is your server version?

I've upgraded to v6 but continue to see the same behavior. Definitely not everything affected. I've identified three related reports (though not sub-reports) that have this issue. Would really like a way to work with the jrxml that these are based on but I keep encountering this message.

what version you have exactly 6.1?

 

do you see the file if you right click on the report and use Properties dialog? you should see the jrxml source, do you see it? could you attach error log, or stack trace?

 

there is something special with this files?
