Cannot view details of a crosstab report in the outline

I have a crosstab report and am unable to view any details under the crosstab node in the outline. I see videos on line that shows how to add an additional measure but I cannot find the functionality in the application. please advise

Inside Jaspersoft Studio the detail of a crosstab is visible only on the crosstab editor (same for list and table). To open the crosstab editor simply double click on the crosstab. The designer of the video is iReport that was the designer used before jaspersoft studio.
