    Hi,looking through your log I can see that there was a connection error when trying to update. Macserver could not be reached.Were you connected in VPN?Massimo.

    The update site location can not be accessed like this.

    Example url for RCP Update site: http://macserver:8080/jsspro/updates/productrepo_snapshot/content.jar

    Example url for Plugin Update site: http://macserver:8080/jsspro/updates/snapshot/content.jar

     

    However what seems to be strange was the error: java.net.UnknownHostException: macserver

    That's why I asked about VPN stuff.

    Do you have Jaspersoft Studio configured with some networks settings in the Preference section?
