  • Report can only be saved from Source tab

    CategoryBug report

When designing a report, often it doesn't get saved on clicking the save button. There is no indication that save didn't work as everything seems to be working fine (after clicking save, the asterisk from the filename is removed, save button is grayed out and disabled) until the report is reopened.

This can be devastating when hours of work are lost.

This is happening on all developers machines.

The only workaround to this is going to the Source tab of the report before clicking the save button, from there it saves every time.

Video proof of the bug is in the attachments.

Hi.Did you have any chance to try the same report editing in a JSS standalone version, or maybe the plug-in one with a different Eclipse version 3.x?I will try to investigate if it can be something related to Eclipse 4. Do you have any errors on the Error Log view?Thanks.Massimo.
