    User guide section 4.9 Using Cache

    What does this mean? Can you re-phrase in English please?

    This specifies whether to keep in memory the report object used to create the subreport

    in order to avoid to reload it all the times it will be used inside the report.

    Hi not sure which part you are referring to. Can you please provide the link?I looked at the latest Jaspersoft Studio User Guide available here: https://docs.tibco.com/pub/js-jss/7.9.0/doc/pdf/TIB_js-jss_7.9_User-Guide.pdf?id=0There is "Using cache" in section 21.2.2.1. The sentence "Specifies whether the subreport's report object is kept in memory or reloaded each time it's used." seems fine to me. Regards,Massimo.

    I see that in the version you specified. The way the sentence is constructed there makes more sense. I have different versions of the user guide. The one I was reading when I submitted the comment appears to have been released with software version 5.5. I'd guess Tibco hired a technical writer sometime after the v5.5 release; that user guide is atrocious.
