When applying a pattern to a text field in iReportDesigner, you are able to preview the data with the pattern applied.

However when that same report is uploaded to the server, the server ignores the pattern.

I'm experiencing the same issue after upgrading from iReport/JasperReports Server 4.5.1 professional to 4.7 professional.
