When I look at the Sample Report of Jasper in the PDF viewer of Ubuntu - Evince - there is a red background behind the barcode. This background is not shown in Adobe PDF Reader.

This was a bug Evince, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/+bug/109995, fixed in Ubuntu 9.10.

In any case, there's nothing to fix in JR. Closing.
